Imagine dunkin’ an ooey-gooey brownie into your morning coffee. Now forget dunkin’ a brownie in your coffee. In fact, forget to cook the brownie all together, because starting this month, instead of dunkin’ a brownie in your coffee, you can dunk some Dunkin’ Brownie Batter creamer into your coffee and call it a day. This is not a dunk on brownie dunkers, this is simply an announcement that Dunkin’ (the brand formerly known as Dunkin’ Donuts) has created yet another flavored creamer you can dunk (or stir, really) into your cuppa joe, and this one is brownie batter flavored. And hey, if you’re really daring, you could dunk a brownie into your Dunkin’ Brownie Batter creamer-infused coffee and potentially rip a Dunkin’ Brownie Batter doughnut-shaped hole in the spacetime continuum and get ~suuuuucked intooooo a donuuuut~ a la Everything Everywhere All at Once (I know it was a bagel but come on y’all, poetic license).
How will this Dunkin’ Brownie Batter creamer taste? Will it actually mimic the uniquely addicting alchemy of the uncook-ed brownie?
Well, according to the description on Dunkin’s website, which tells us to “bring on the gooey, spoon-licking brownie batter bliss,” it would seem we are in for a very brownie batter-esque treat to mix into our iced coffees. And while that is pretty much all the info we have on this new treat-inspired creamer (other than that it is hitting stores now) there is some precedent that would clue us into what this creamer will taste like. For instance, back in February 2023, Dunkin’ released a line of Dunkin’ baked good-flavored canned iced coffees, one of which was “Brownie Batter Donut” flavored (yes, Dunkin’ actually sells a Brownie Batter Donut that is essentially a doughnut with a brownie batter-esque filling…I want it). According to online reviewers at the time, it seemed that while this canned brownie batter doughnut iced coffee wasn’t bad, it also tasted more like chocolatey coffee than brownie batter. In addition, Dunkin’ had an in-store drink come out around the same time, which some people absolutely loved and others hated. Some thought it tasted like “mocha and chemicals,” and others likened it to Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies. It’s worth pointing out, however, that this new creamer is brownie batter flavored unlike its predecessors, which were brownie batter doughnut flavored. So after all of that sleuthing around the internet’s thriving Dunkin’-brownie-batter-verse, we still essentially know nothing.
But it is out in stores now and I must say, I am just intrigued enough to try it. If I could have a socially acceptable excuse to consume something that even remotely reminds me of brownies first thing in the morning, y’all already know I am going to take that chance. So excuse me while I shut my laptop and go searching for this coffee creamer. Hey, if I like it enough, maybe I’ll get ~suuuuucked intooooo a Dunkin’ brownie batter coffeeeee creamerrrrrrr~ (eh, doesn’t have the same ring to it; still, hope the stuff is good!)
