Several different types of Pokémon Valentine's Day cards have been manufactured. At least four different sets of valentines exist. These valentines are typically used by children to give to their classmates on Valentine's Day, as is customary in North America and other parts of the world.
Pokémon Collector's Series #1 Valentine's Day Cards & Envelopes
The box of valentines and its contentsPokémon Collector's Series #1 Valentine's Day Cards & Envelopes are a set of thirty-five valentines and envelopes produced by American Greetings.[1] This includes thirty-four valentines for friends and one for a teacher. They were released during Generation II. The valentines included are in prints of three and must be ripped apart from one another.
The following Pokémon are featured on valentines in this set: Pikachu, Psyduck, Snorlax, Typhlosion, Slowking and Elekid.
Pokémon Collector's Series #2 Valentine's Day Cards and Envelopes
The front of the box An Exeggcute valentine from the setPokémon Collector's Series #2 Valentine's Day Cards And Envelopes are the companion set to the Collector's Series #1. Like the first series, they were manufactured by American Greetings. They were made during Generation II and had thirty-four student cards, one teacher card, and several envelopes per box.
The following Pokémon are featured on valentines in this set: Pikachu, Hoothoot, Hoppip, Ledyba, Exeggcute and possibly more.
Pokémon Dazzling Foil Valentines
A pack of thirty-twoPokémon Dazzling Foil Valentines were released in 2008 and available in packages of 32 and 30. A sticker sheet was included with each box which featured Sinnoh first partner Pokémon and their evolutions.
The following Pokémon are featured on valentines in this set: Turtwig, Grotle, Piplup, Prinplup, Chimchar, Monferno, Pikachu, Dialga, Palkia, and also Ash.
Pokémon Valentines (2003)

There were 32 valentines in total with eight unique designs. Each design featured CGI artwork of various Pokémon. There were no specifically designated "teacher's" valentines, although one design was larger than the other seven. The entire package included the 32 valentines, a sheet of stickers, and a sheet of temporary tattoos. The valentines were self-sealing and did not include envelopes.
The following Pokémon are featured on valentines in this set: Charizard, Pikachu, Skarmory, Scizor, Heracross, Smeargle, Donphan, Pichu, Totodile, Snubbull, Marill, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Wobbuffet and Togepi.

Pokémon Valentines and Pops is a bag featuring ten different valentine cards and ten heart-shaped lollies. It was released in 2008.
